Taking a Stand for the Apostolic Doctrine

Attached are copies of a formal memorandum and the Position Paper presented by Bishop Charles E. Johnson at the Bishops’ Executive Board meeting, March 2006 held in Detroit, Michigan. This document expresses objections and discontent regarding inviting Ecumenical (Non-Apostolic) speakers to minister at the 2006 P.A.W. National Convention in Anaheim, California.

I've been baptized - NOW WHAT?

If you've been baptized in Jesus' name by submersion in water AND if you've received God's Spirit, the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, your journey in Christ has JUST BEGUN!

The following addresses Frequently Asked Questions - feel free to email us some of your own!

Why do I need to go to church?
Fellowship at church strengthens our faith, increases our knowledge and obeys the Word of God (Heb 10:25) which instructs us NOT to forsake the "assembling of ourselves together".

Can I 'date'?
'Dating' is for those at liberty to marry AND does not involve physical intimacy.  "Marriage is honourable".  (Heb 13:4)

Is there a 'dress code'?
In a word, yes.  As with other professions like the military, firemen, nursing, etc...there's a standard for believers, too.  We should be modest and chaste (I Peter 3) and obey them that have the rule over us (our pastors, for instance).

Will I ever be 'Perfect'?
"Be not weary in well-doing."  As we humbly follow the Word of God and pursue holiness, He will "perfect that which concerneth me."

Why am I here?
To rejoice in our Creator and to glorify and honor God.  (Rev 4:11)
